The poor girl! I really feel sorry for her. It was stupid question! How in the bloody blazes should she know why US-Americans are so dumb? Give contestants an answerable question, I say. Sad as it is, it makes incredible YouTube. I loved the first parody, which I hadn’t seen.

These girls must be under some intense pressure. Pressure to perform, pressure to be thin. Pressure from domineering parents.
I was sympathetic for maybe 15 seconds. Then I thought about the years of practice these girls go through. Yeah, she’s human, but she was totally coached and prepared to answer such inane questions with some scripted framework answer.
Lesson learned. She has nothing to worry about. Nobody will remember her name, only that Miss South Carolina crashed and burned. 15 min of fame is over.
