You Give Me a Headache
October 1, 2007
Scenario: I’m heading out the door to pick up a pizza pie.
8yr Old Son: “Dad, can I come with you?” (with puppy dog eyes)
Me: “Okay.”
Son: “Thanks, Dad. But, don’t talk to me. It gives me a headache.”

Got something to say?
Heh heh, you got me to laugh out loud.
My 8 year old - the other morning he comes out of his room late in the morning. Trying to be bright and bouncy I ask him “How ya been?” He fixes me with a disdaining expression and replys “Sleeping.”
That’s great - your 8 year old is already expressing his teen rebellion by acknowledging the pain you talking to him causes. Wait until you really hurt him by telling him what to do! ;)
Generally, they tell me that I “make their lives miserable!”
